El disco que Big Star publicó en 1978, Third, fue reeditado varias veces con el nombre Sister Lovers. Pero por primera vez, todas las grabaciones del disco (demos, mezlcas y versiones alternativas) fueron compiladas en un box set llamdo Complete Third que sale a al venta este 14 de octubre mediante Omnivore Recordings.
La colección será lanzada en formato digital y en box set de tres CDs, con una edición en vinilo para más tarde. En total son 69 canciones, 29 de los cuales son inéditos.
