Grandaddy anuncio el esperado sucesor de Just Like the Fambly Cat (2006, V2): su primer disco en más de una década se llama Last Place y tiene como fecha de lanzamiento el 3 de marzo mediante 30th Century Records, el sello de Danger Mouse.
Está compuesto por 12 nuevas canciones que fueron producidas por el mismo Jason Lytle y a modo de adelanto tenemos el video para “Way We Won’t“, tema que abre el disco y que había estrenado el mes pasado. Lo protagoniza Jason Ritter de la serie Parenthood:
