Weezer anunció que lanzará una reedición de The Blue Album a 30 años de su lanzamiento. La banda, que se encuentra de gira celebrando este disco debut, confirmó que esta reedición estará llena de sorpresas para los fans, pues incluirá 36 canciones inéditas.
El lanzamiento será el 1 de noviembre e incluirá versiones tempranas de algunas canciones, grabaciones en vivo, “Kitchen Tape Demos” y grabaciones de radio de la BBC. Además, la edición tendrá nuevas notas de Karl Koch, imágenes inéditas de Weezer, litografías y más.
Entre los adelantos que ya se pueden escuchar se encuentra la primera grabación conocida de “Undone – The Sweater Song”, que dejamos a continuación. Weezer comenzó el tour “Voyage to the Blue Planet” donde tocará el disco completo.
