Esta mañana se revelaron los nominados para la próxima entrega de los Premios Grammy. La edición número 62 del certamen anual premiará los mejores discos, canciones y artistas del periodo 1º de octubre 2018 - 31 de agosto de 2019. La gala, conducida por Alicia Keys, tendrá lugar el domingo 26 de enero próximo en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles.
La artista más nominada del año es Lizzo, con un total de ocho candidaturas. Le siguen Billie Eilish y Lil Nas X, con seis nominaciones cada uno. Otros grandes nominados del año son Thom Yorke, Ariana Grande y Beyoncé.
La categoría más importante, Álbum del año, tiene entre sus nominados a Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Lana Del Rey, entre otros.
El líder de Radiohead está nominado a Mejor álbum alternativo (Anima), donde compite con Big Thief (U.F.O.F.), James Blake (Assume Form), Bon Iver (i, i) y Vampire Weekend (Father of the Bride). Yorke también está nominado en Mejor canción para medios audiovisuales ("Suspirium"), Mejor film musical (Anima) y Mejor box o paquete de edición limitada (Anima).
Rosalía, por su lado, logra estar nominada a Mejor artista nuevo. Allí comparte categoría con Eilish, Lizzo, Lil Nas X y Maggie Rogers.
Eilish es la artista más joven de la historia en recibir nominaciones en las cuatro categorías principales. En el otro extremo, Beyoncé logra un nuevo récord de nominaciones: con las de este año lleva acumuladas 70.
